A long standing tradition in the Borough is the house decorating contest.  Each home is secretly judged for it’s display of patriotism and use of the theme.  Borough residents are encouraged to use their creativity and enthusiasm.

Each year, the parade committee recognizes the “STUDENTS OF THE MONTH” selected from the Lebanon Borough Elementary School.  In years past, the recognition was for the King and Queen.  This will occur at 12:50 AM on Main Street in front of the Fox and Hound Tavern.

What would a 4th of July parade be without fire and rescue trucks?  The 4th of July parade has always been a welcome site for our volunteer fire and rescue service members throughout New Jersey.  We are fortunate to have our own Station 18 – Lebanon Borough Volunteer Fire Department assist in the festivities.  Be sure to head over to the Holjes-Sheppard park after the parade for the annual tug-of-war and fire department hose down.  It is an event NOT TO BE MISSED!

After the parade, join us at Holjes-Sheppard Memorial Park (just behind the Lebanon Borough Elementary School) for festivities including the singing of “The Star Spangled Banner”, flag raising ceremony, presentation of awards, refreshments, games & friendly competition for folks of all ages!

Vehicles line up will begin at 10:15 AM on Lynwood Drive.  Judging of vehicles will begin at 11:15AM.
Vehicles arriving after 11:15 AM will not be judged.  Please arrive early.
